Mounting Liquid Inside Rings

I use liquid electrical tape. Started years ago and even using some of the best rings available I still use it. When you take them apart it just rubs off. Just my little bit of comfort.

100% agree as far as the comfort factor. How do you apply it...? just a thin layer on the inside of both the upper and lower rings?

Why not just bed the rings to the scope tube? then they will be a perfect fit

I just run a line down the center top and bottom. Whatever squeezes out I let dry and scrape it off with a toothpick.

It's not a "fit" issue it's a little more grip thing.
