More powder lately, but the prices! šŸ˜®

Supply/demand--- needs/wamts

Yet people still are willing to pay $80/ gal for Starbucks coffee and $90k for a pickup truck and $6-8/dozen eggs (yet eggs in Mexico cost about $2.50 us/dozen)

Gotta pay to play now a days

Could be worse- check out the price of rl26 on gunjoker

At this price, I should sell the rest of my RL 26!

I get what I need from Midsouth Shooter. They always have great prices and fast delivery on powders.
I ordered several pounds of LRT from Mid south about noontime on a Monday, Tuesday afternoon FedEx pulled into my drive way. My wife asked what did you order now?. I'm not sure what this is I answered. It was my powder from Mid South. Next day? I didn't order it next day!

So I don't know what's up with this. Maybe something to do with powder having to be shipped differently than other stuff?

I am heading to the grocery store today. I will most likely spend an amount equal to 8lbs of powder on this trip. I also am looking for a vehicle for my wife. Retirement seemed like a good idea a few years ago. Not so much now.
Right there with you brother. The last 3 years I've had to work part time jobs. Social Security doest make It anymore. Thanks Brandon... Then we get a 3.5 % increase . Woo hoo ! How insulting. After the Medicare increase that follows the S.S. increase it came the $52.00 . Yip. Of course your supplemental insurance goes up also. Heck everything goes up ! I need a drink now šŸ™„

The no tax thing is kind of nice. I'm in WV and we have no sales tax on firearms, ammo and reloading supplies. I buy some stuff out of state if I run across a deal or something I really need but I'm always weighing it out in my mind
Still got the Pittman-Robertson tax --- it's just hidden in the cost of the item you are buying--- i think it's added for reloading supplies too but I'm not 100% sure

I did a search yesterday for H4895 and a couple of other powders I'm out of and I think the price went up again since last week! Powders that had been nearly $60/lb were now nearly $70/lb and nearing $500 for an 8# keg!
Some time ago I started looking for replacement powders for H4895 & glad I did. I found a guy selling a number of 1 lb containers of powders at a good price in the same approximate burning rate as H4895 so I bought it all. I have one rifle that is a 1/4 inch 3 shot rifle using H4895 & after trying each of those new powders AA2460 was looking really good so I bought an 8# keg of it for $315. A year before I'd bought an 8# keg of H380 for $266. Both are good in that rifle but AA2460 is better! Glad I bought them both back then!

Would be nice if Trump removes tax away from Social Security. I agree, Brandon deliberately put it to our retirement budget. Getting back to powder, would like to see some IMR 4831. I won't even mention price. Maybe we should seek USAID and say our rifles are fluid and non binary. šŸ˜µā€šŸ’« Let's contact Pocahontas and Schumer, I meant Harris and Tampon Tim. After all they claim to be gun owners! šŸ¤®

Remember when Clinton (slick willy) tried to take from the Pittman Robertson fund to pay down national debt ? Rep.Congress said no no willy.

I made a mistake. Looked at receipt from Scheels. LRT was $41.99 ! Ramshot the best deal out there.
Makes me want to go get more... 100 miles to Billing and snowing like heck. No sales tax... NAH !
