More powder lately, but the prices! 😮

The entire industries profits are 10 fold from just 4 years ago...does anyone think...they want to go back...my guess...is.... NOPE! Prices will be WHATEVER THE MARKET CAN BEAR! ( and do we think any employee of a powder, projectile, casing company or primer manufacturer....has gotten a dollar an hour raise!)

I am heading to the grocery store today. I will most likely spend an amount equal to 8lbs of powder on this trip. I also am looking for a vehicle for my wife. Retirement seemed like a good idea a few years ago. Not so much now.

Wouldn't it be a great thing if D. JR. and Eric Trump (shooters) got involved in forming a worthwhile beurocracy to look into benefits for U. S. shooters hunters and all firearms related activities. Shooting used to be a national pastime accompanied by the Ladies and Men dresses in their Sunday best, akin to an ice cream social. Remember the days when an NRA Sticker was seen on cars and many trucks with gun racks in the rear window? At age 10 I transported my Marlin model 57 lever .22 on board a greyhound bus with the barrel sticking out of my suitcase, heading to a friend's house, no one got excited at all.

It doesn't matter what you like to do,
Shooting/hunting, fishing, golf, strip bars, basically everything fun.
it all cost money and nothing is getting cheaper.

I think it is safe to say the Americans have taken a huge hit in the wallet the past 4 or 5 years. Inflation has crippled us. How many cost of living increases do you think we will need just to catch back up to where we were and that's assuming that inflation slows to something more reasonable.

Maybe when Trump is finished this silly haz-mat will disappear. It started at a buck. Then two, then five. It is whatever the market will bare.
