Montana DIY hunt

My buddy and I just returned from SW Montana on a DIY hunt for elk. I shot a nice 6x6 that spent a lot of time fighting and my buddy shot a 7x7 monster that scored about 370. I was shooting 215 Berger hybrids but only shot a 100 yards. Here are some pictures.

We usually hunt near Lima and Dillon. Just curious. Might go next year

It's tuff to give up a honey hole. I killed 4 bulls in 6 trips there and the my best was 315. On public ground,that ain't bad.
