Congratulations on the new NF w/ MOA reticle.
I am assuming that a tactical match requires you to quicky range, compensate, and shoot??
I've been using a NF w/ MOA reticle for coyotes since the early/mid 90's. I memorize my trajectory and wind drift in inches out to 600 yds. Coyotes usually don't give a person much time, so the reticle works wonderfully for holdover/windage when a quick shot is required. Very easy to covert inches of drop/drift to moa in my head and on the fly..........I couldn't do the same thing nearly as quick with the Mil reticles.
27" low at 500.......27/5 = 5 2/5 = just a shade under 5.5 moa holdover or 5 moa plus 2", however you want to look at it.
Takes me about a second, what could be simpler?? LOVE A MOA RETICLE!!!
Congrats and good luck!
