Missouri Ranges 500 yards or over ??

Anyone know of rifle ranges 500 yds or more? I know of the Bench Rest range west of St.Louis but looking for other options.

yea, monroe county gun club, 10 minutes or so north of paris. its setup for NRA silhouette has targets at 2,3,4,500 meters. you have to b a member or guest to go. 15 for a year membership, its well worth it imo. might be something with 500 yards in jeff city.

you should post a ad in your local paper or weelky shopper .

will work for a place to shoot your firearms , you may meet a local
farmer or rancher that could always use another hand from time to time , even if you just run fences .

i would guess that you will have a 99 % chance of finding you a home range where you can shoot .

how do i know this , im a land owner who has done it for other's .

there is one about 1:45min south east of osage beach in Houston,Mo you can shoot out to 800yds there they have several shoots there also nothing official though they have a tactical shoot ,f-class ,600 br and rimfire shoots very nice place and freindly people

The Owensville Gun Club has a 500 yard range and pretty nice covered firing points. Membership is $25.00 per year with a $50.00 initiation fee.

It's called Big Piney Sportsmen's Club, a little NE of Houston. They have F-Class shoots every other month. You shoot at 100 yard intervals from 100 to 800 yards. 5 shots at each yardage. I've shot it a couple times. Cost is $20 for non-members, if memory serves.
Also on alternate months, they have tactical marksmen matches. Same deal as the F-Class shoots, but you're shooting from different positions/rests. For example, some simulate shooting off a rooftop or using a mailbox for support.
