Varget has been my goto powder for 223, but I've been hoping to make more groups look like my best by reloading at the range. I thought Tac would fit the bill, but small groups with high s.d. at low velocity and huge groups with single digit s.d. at high velocity makes it worthless to me. I want to try more powders like blc2, but would like to know if metering, not weighing, works for any of you guys. I'm using a RCBS uniflow.
