Anyone have the good,bad or ugly on Mesa actions? Looking at a 6 creed build for son's birthday is it really worth trying up a 700 shorty or just get a Mesa or Stiller?

I've had a couple the titanium Mesa action, wasn't the biggest fan of em. I'd suggest a Mac bros Evo SS In favor of a Mesa/Stiller/or trued remmy. They're 550$ and very nice for the price. The only disadvantage is you have to run a bdm bottom metal. Or perhaps you could utilize a wyatt's center feed box, I'd contact Mac Bros on that issue. The bighorn origin is also a great action for the money, kelbly atlas as well. These are all options under a grand. If you already have the remington 700, pimping it out via LRI to be as good as the other options mentioned would likely run you 5-600$
