IMHO there is difference in "chasing the jam" and optimizing your seating depth. It's no big deal. If see accuracy fall off, re-measure. I doubt the barrel wear is going to be that fast - maybe if shooting competitions but were talking about hunting. Once you have optimized everything, then a week or before you are set to hunt, re-verify your accuracy.
