Looking to sell a McGowen Remage barrel in .243 Ackley Improved. From the work order:
243 Ackley, 1-8" Twist, REMAGE, McGowen #2 Contour, Hunter Crown, Matte Blue, 20" Long.
Includes the barrel nut.
I bought this new in 2018 and never really did anything with it. I had it on a Remington Model 7 I intended to hunt with and never did. I can't find anything about it in my notes other than the purchase order; I have two other .243 AIs with extensive load workups, so I assume that other than sighting it in, there aren't many rounds down the pipe. It has a few safe marks, but other than that, it's in great shape.
$225 shipped. I plan to post this elsewhere so will try to honor the first public "I'll take it" by time stamp. PM with questions and thanks for looking.
