Marlin Model MR-7 Bolt Action Rifle in 270 Winchester. This is near mint condition, walnut stock. Made in 1996, "JM" stamped. It does not appear to have had a scope mounted on it, it does not have iron sights. I will say this about these guns, these were made when Marlin quality was much different than some of the recent years.
I read about the Marlin MR7s:
"It used the same trigger as the Model 70 Winchester, the same type of push-feed bolt as the Remington 700 with the "three rings of steel," a three-position Model 70-type safety, a bolt handle styled after the Ruger 77, and a detachable box magazine similar to the Browning A Bolt. They were well-made, but just didn't catch on very well."
$725 Shipped to your FFL from an individual, 3 day non discharge and not transferred inspection.
You will not be disappointed once you see this one.
