Don't know if you all are familiar with TerraServer or not but it's a fairly useful tool.
Here's the URL and image of an area I frequent.

I print the images out and for a large map I cut and paste, (the old fashion way) to get a larger map. (Safety tip, don't run with the scissors and don't use the "Good Scissors".)
