This is correct. I've got a 2B in a UC Plus and it has a nice feel to it. It will take up to Proof Sendero Light or Bartlein 4 or 13 though. You might already know this but in case you don't.

Not sure if this helps you or not. This is a Manners UC Plus with a Bartlein 2B. I really wanted the original UC but they no longer make it when I ordered and I was concerned that it would be wider than I wanted but it turned out fine.
