I am looking to purchase a Mandrel die Sinclair has been sold out for what feels like forever, I am on there email notification list waiting and hoping they get back into stock, but at this point I would be willing to purchase a used one if someone has one they would like to sell. Thanks.

I have sinclair and 21 century mandrels and dies . they are interchangeable . 21 century makes expander mandrels in .0005 increments . hope this helps .

So the mandrel itself can be swapped between the two different dies? Because if that's the case I will purchase the die from 21 century and the mandrels from Sinclair. 21 century I would buy there mandrels but to be honest there website is so confusing I'm not sure if I am purchasing the correct one for the correct neck tension and then they have one labeled as expander and another as turning neck and I'm not exactly sure what that means.

I agree the website is totally confusing .

yes I have both dies , and mandrels from both places . I can use any mandrel in either die . the cutting mandrels are for neck turning , they are a little smaller than the expander so the case can turn on it while cutting . I'll find the expander and sets and post up a link .

I have a couple sets , you can also buy separately .

I forgot to mention .

I like the 21 century die best . it has a window cut in it so you can watch the brass neck go over the mandrel , and not jam it into the top of the die .

So you recommend a different metal mandrel compared to others ? I have heard of certain ones you don't have to lube to use?

for reloading I just use the ones in the set I posted the link to above . it takes very , very little lube to use these . it's the " caliber specific " ones . I think these only come in one metal , from 21 century .

I did get the Black one for my neck turner .

21 century die . I like the window .
