I have a Remington 700 30-06 that was the first deer rifle I bought when I was 13, I will be 42 this year. Decided to give it a rebuild/ rebirth. I have purchased a McMillan game hunter stock from a member here, mullerworks #5 9 twist that will be finished at 26" from Southern Precision Rifles, because they are local and great to deal with, HS precision detachable bottom metal, trigger tech special, Seekins 20moa rail, Hawkins ultralight 30mm rings and will repurpose my vortex razor hdlht 4.5-22 scope to this rifle. I am going to get the action trued, bolt and barrel fluted and all the goodies added. Going to chamber in 30-06 Ackley Improved for reuse of many years of saved brass. I am planning on shooting the heavier, 200-212ish grain bullets. It will be my all purpose rifle, big game and long range shooter. I am excited to make something old new again. Any thoughts or tips on the 06 Ackley Improved are appreciated!

What's the advantage of that, Bob the nailer! Is your name profession orientated or personal compliment??? 🤔😳😉👍
Front Ignition is best explained with this cd if you can find one.
