Major runout problem.

The trick previously mentioned for seating bullets with less runout also works for neck runout. After sizing, rotate the case 180 degrees in the shellholder and resize again. Try that on a few cases and if it reduces runout at the neck it might be time to buy different dies.

Neck turning brass has in my hands increased runout on new and once fired brass unless sorted by neck variance first. This disappears once "fireformed" as Ray suggests. I have loaded new brass with 5-9 thou runout that shot better than once fired brass with 1-2 thou runout. Is this increased run out making a difference on paper or is this just a theoretical, hypothetical trifle?
