I'm not certain which action it is... It looks like an L691 but it doesn't have the sako
Integral base. Magnum Research may well have built these on a special run. Only marking can be seen on the posted pictures.

I have Leupold QR bases an 1" rings included on the rifle now. Rifle only is roughly 8 to 8.25 lbs on the kitchen scale

What Sako action is that (what bases fit it)?

What's the weight?

Rem 700 LA bases should fit it. MRI took a Sako L691 action and milled, drilled and tapped the top of the receiver to a Rem 700 profile. When it left MRI, any bases that would normally fit a long action Rem 700 should fit sbruni's rifle. I have two LH MRI's. Both of mine are Rem 700 profile.

If this one had been LH, it would have been in KY a long time ago.
