MagnetoSpeed Mount; Increase Sensitivity?

According to mag speed that .879 is too much gap. Do you have any risers to decrease the gap?

I recently made an off barrel mount for my MagnetoSpeed V3. As you can probably tell from the attached pics it is not adjustable. My question is do you guys think I should up my sensitivity to account for the increased height from muzzle to bayonet?

It all depends on the mass of the pills you are firing over it. The simple and quick answer will come when you fire the rounds in question over it.
I suspect it will fail to read rounds if they are relatively small, eg 55 gr.

I will mostly be using it for my 7mm RM using 150-168 gr. bullets. I will be using it from time to time with my AR15s as well using 55-75 gr. bullets.
