I recently made an off barrel mount for my MagnetoSpeed V3. As you can probably tell from the attached pics it is not adjustable. My question is do you guys think I should up my sensitivity to account for the increased height from muzzle to bayonet?

It looks to be too far from the centerline for good reads. My instructions say 1/8 to .375" from the edge of the bullet path. Looks like you need a taller ring in your setup on bayonet side, or shorter on the stock mount side; that looks like over 1/2" from what I see.

Here are some pics of the measurements I'm dealing with.

I know mine came with a .25" plastic square rod to check spacing that that's for the bullet path. Try it and see what happens.

Today's Zen question. What would MacGyver do??? He's your Huckleberry here.
Hardware stores make more money from Magnetospeeds than Magnetospeed does. :) :) :) :)

This is what I bought.

For the person that doesn't know. The 1/4" rod is used to space between the outer edge of the bore (not the outside of the barrel) to the mag speed. It gives the space for safety of bullet path. Just make sure the crook is starting at the end of the barrel for the expanding gasses to not ruin the mag speed.
