Magazine issue with xlr magnesium

Is anyone running a xlr magnesium in savage ultralight long action? My ai 300 wm magazine that fits my xlr carbon chasis fall right out. Has there been changes over the last 8 years?

I'd be betting the chassis is cut for the longer cip length mags. I know the 2 rem700 long action element MG chassis ive been around are cip length.

That was the issue man. Had no idea they have two mag lengths now.

There's CIP(longer internal) which is what ya want for had loading longer heavier bullets, or standard. Consider it a good thing!
