A receiver might be something to consider as I have an M24 bolt….. I understand the Army installed M16 extractors when they built M13's using Remington bolts but not on repaired/modified M24s. Does anyone know if DARFA installed M16 style extractors on the M700 bolts used in the 2010 program.
I have a used M24 bolt so do you have any M24 receivers that are unsold?

Interesting read if you get time on how the decided on the Long action for a short action cartridge. barrel/cartridge swapping in the field I think was the original idea, don't recall it coming to fruition on the m24, maybe the XM2010. I guess that's the standard now with the MRAD.
