LT-104 on REM 700

I want to run my larue tactical mounts on my 243 and 308 remington 700 sps rifles. I have bell and carlson A5 stocks with adjustable cheek risers. I know this scope mount puts the scope a bit higher above the bore, but I can adjust my cheek weld up 5/16" or so. Other than the higher cheek weld are there other negative effects.
