Thought I would share some data for Dallas Lanes 300 Norma reamer. This has become my new favorite.

Manners LRH in Moola.
BAT HR LPR special
Bix N Andy trigger. Best around
T2 muzzle brake.
Broughton 3B 25.

H1000 and 215 Bergers .030 off has shot amazing. I went out today and did a cold bore 3 shot group as quick as I accurately could. So about 30 seconds. 2". Last time I took it out was 1.5" for (4) shots. 84 grains for 3020. It's just so perfect.

I have had a few of the improved versions. N570 and 230's or 245's. And I felt like N570 was hard on the barrels and shoot them to much. I had quite a bit of 215's and H1000, and wanted a case for that combo. It was either this or the 30 Nosler. I had the dies and brass for 300 Norma along with a 1.250 shank barrel for the BAT HR. If your barrel likes H1000 and 215's, it's going to be the most badass thing around.

I never could get the improved version to shoot H1000 or Retumbo and 215's.

I agree with the H1000 and 215's for sure. They were made for each other. I was shooting a lot of N570 but the throat erosion is crazy. The H1000 really don't see that much even the hotter side you don't. So I've pulled away from N570 from everything except the 28 Nosler. It just loves it and so if I only get 400 to 500 rounds so what. I'll spin a new barrel on it. But for the 30 cals its all H1000 and 215's. They all love the combo.

I think you made the right choice on the caliber. Great looking rifle also.
