Looking at a few new cva muzzle loaders .

My last muzzle loader was a Remington 700 50 cal. I am looking at the Cva Optima v2 50 cal edge that has 26 inch barrel. . And the Optima v2 50 LR thumphole has a 28 inch barrel muzzleloader. I live in northern Arkansas. I usally shoot 150 yds or less. But some few places i can shoot to 200 or 250. I have bunch of older Remington 50 cal 44 mag sabots jhp. And tc cheap shot lead 240gr jhp. And picking up some of the hornady 250 gr sst. Only powder i have is 2 jugs of triple 7 powder. I like the idea of the LR model. Its only 35.00 differents between the two. I may apply for 2 out of state deer pemints next yr for ML.
