Long range shooters near or in billings Montana?

Hello. i am looking to see if the is any long range shooters in or around my area? i know they have a long range shooting facility in north west Montana but nothing down here within close access. i am looking to see if there is some shooters that are in my area that would be willing to help out a starting long range shooter. i have made some shots in the 400-500 range with my 270 but just bought a 300RUM and would like to get it fitted for long range shooting. i have shot prairie dogs at just under 1000 yrds with a heavy barrel 223. i have been looking at glass from vortex to Leopold and Swarovski and Carl Zeiss but having difficulties choosing a optic without seeing it in the range first hand. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance

We have steel targets out to 700 yds here in Billings at the Yellowstone Rifle Club. There are many members that use that portion of the club.
