I've never done it, but I appreciate the lead sled method of load workup. I also feel that for load tuning you are not working on your skills and you want to get the most accuracy from your load/rifle that you can.
After you get the best load developed, then you shoot from bipod/sticks/pack, etc, to try to duplicate those groups. When you get close, work on speed and getting on target quicker while focusing on the mechanics and proper form. Just my opinion.
