Bryan's book was in the mail today!:D

I found the book full of new and interesting data and tests I would have never considered.

A square base BT bullet will fly with the same amount of minimal drag regardless of twist rate. Why?

Buy the book, for those ballistics "nuts" or just the inquiring long range shooter it's worth reading.

There are qualifiers to everything in the cosmos, but if you're talking about flat base bullets there are at least a couple reasons for the generalization: They present higher base drag moving center of pressure backward and they muzzle release cleaner as gasses can only push a released flat base straight ahead(less initial disturbance).
FB twist requirements are not only lower than required for BT, but also lower than typically required for length.
IMO, your best chance for accuracy, before BC dominates, is with FB bullets. Once BC dominates, BTs better provide it. Wobble or no wobble.
