I had one wood grain dipped a few years ago and it did not stand up to much abuse.

Don't know. The stock weighs 38 Oz which is on the heavy side for some folks. But grayboe offers that finish in all their rifle stocks now. That trekker stock they have would be a lighter option.

Any company that does hydrographic camo dips, same process except for the film is wood grain and in some cases carbon fiber. I have only used the camo dip versions, but have seen some wood grain dipped shotguns and they looked amazingly realistic with the exception of the missing pores normally seen in real wood.
