I recently bought a used Leupold VX-L 4.5-14x56 LR scope knowing that I would drop it off at the Leupold Custom Shop to have the reticles changed. I was surprised to find out that reticle changes was not an option with this scope because of the curved design in the bell. Even though I was disappointed (and irritated) that this info was not readily available, I had to break it to my wife that we would now have to buy a new gun because of this problem. I guess the real down side is that I will have to continue looking for another scope...LOL. My wife then informed me that she had her eye on a Cooper rifle that this scope would work great on... Not LOL
