I have different sets of Leupold and Nightforce rings that differ in whether they have the company markings on them or not. From what I understand, earlier Leupold rings did not have any markings, but later ones have the logo engraved on the top halves. Nightforce seems to be the opposite, where the earlier ones did have the company markings on them, but the later ones do not.
Is this information correct? Or can someone shed more light on what time frame the companies did or did not mark their rings?
