Looks like most of you aren't worried about hides.

I'm a .17 wsm guy, and the biggest difference is that I have to gut mine with a knife.

Doesn't bother me a bit. I use 270 WSM for coyotes and Bobcats. Our yotes are so mangy that the hides are yucky. Doesn't hurt that your rifle can handle bigger critters too.

LOL! It is one of those antelope hunt situations that turned into a coyote hunt. There 4 coyotes stalking the same herd I was hunting, and the poor fellow was standing watch. Also, they are not worth much here.

I have several but this is my latest.

.17-223 Improved 24" Lilja 1-9". I have never painted anything any decided to give it a shot with Duracoat. Shoots the 30gr Chan Nagle @4000 with Benchmark. Picture of the target is 270 yards. Took it out to 527 yard, 1.6 mils, 3" group. Pretty much point and shoot out to 325.

My Bushy lower with Colt M4 1-9" twist barrel I assembled. It's nothing special but makes a good truck gun. Yote was on the run about 95 yards and the chuck was a coldbore 400 yard headshot. 55gr NBT 2nds over TAC.

shoots 40gr SBK with 8208 very well

Next is a browning x-bolt predator hunter in 204 with a nikon 4.5x14
shoots 35gr bergers and benchmark

3rd started out as an SPS Tactical that now has an HS Precision stock off an LTR and a triggertech primary trigger with leupold 4x12
shoots 55gr NBT with benchmark

Finally a Tikka T3x in 223 with a leupold 4.5x14 with varmint reticle
shoots 53gr v-max with benchmark

My any predator rifle. If just nothing but yotes I'd take my 204. I'm never just hunting yotes tho so this one does it all. 6.5 prc.
