I visited him once , back in 2010 , and he was most gracious , and very informative , freely sharing information , as well as giving me a "Guided Tour" of his "Toy Room" , machine shop , garage , and his Hot Rod , of which he was very proud of ALL , and rightfully so .DMP25-06 , Yes sadly he did of complications from COVID19 a week ago Sunday .
I've had a few look like that after being hit with the 25-06. Larger than 22cal really unzips them for sure.Savage LA .270AI 30" Lilja 3G 1:8" #6 with JP Beenie Coulee MB, Burris Veracity 4-20 with Horus Vision ASLI on a 20 MOA EGW rail. Current accuracy load, 175 Matrix VLD 2993 FPS.

Is it just me, or are those dogs too cute to shoot? And I do like that .17 Remington.17 Remington and 6.5 Creedmor.View attachment 248294View attachment 248295
It is just me being silly. I think a full winter coat on a coyote is a beautiful thing. I don't care what the anti-fur wearing morons think, I think nature did a really good job, and they are fun to go toe to toe with in the field. And I still like the .17 Remington. It's just you but then it also depends on what they are doing .
