Let’s see some coyotes!

I've wondered the same with my 17 Remington sometimes. Usually when I pick them up it's like a waterbed inside. Hard pressed to find any blood on the outside though. It's amazing what a little 25 grain HP can do to a coyote, it drops them like they were stuck by lightning!!!!
Best way I describe a hit coyote is , like picking up a plastic bag filled with water, so far i'm batting 100% on kills. But it's going to be a long winter before the verdict is in, I believe ballistic wise in skilled hands, a 300 yard yote getter, 6.4 inch drop, and still packing 200 foot pounds of energy.

One at a time continues:) I walked 200 yards from the truck this morning and called this guy in in 2 minutes. I guess what they say is true, it's bad luck to shoot one on the first stand. I hiked another 3.5 miles with nothing. Oh well… Ill take it! Was a beautiful morning.

Stunning photos!
How many of us have called one in after the first few minutes of calling, only to not see another for the rest of the day?
