leica geovid how far do they range?

I ranged cows today out to 1248. When the sun came out I was limited to about 900.

Mine are the older non-HD 10x42 model. I can usually get well past 1350 when using a rest, 1380 is the most i have seen. They are rated to 1200, and deliver. 
Love mine and i consider them one of the best purchaces I have made.
I once picked out a brow tine (3-4 inch) amongst the shrubbery, on a bedded down elk at over 600 yards, the optics are VERY good.

i have the 10x42s and in New Mex last weekend was able to get readings to about 1300 fairly well not much beyond that.
