Left bolt / Right port for right handed shooter

Do you have info or history of amt stuff?

No I do not. I believe it was on this forum that someone had a pretty good write up a few years back. I do need to see what I can learn about them as I've been shooting it lately.

Yes, and I prefer my dominant side, the right hand/right port, even though I am left-eye dominant.

I'm left eye dominant ,but have right hand bolt guns. I tried a left hand bolt expecting a good result, but I couldn't work the bolt worth a **** left handed . I just shoot a right hand bolt left handed. I can work it pretty fast , but can't keep my eye on the target

I have a friend exactly as you are, we do what works

It works my buddy is left handed and shoots right hand guns and never breaks his cheek weld. Like said the safety is different but I noticed he was much quicker on follow up shots and consistent

Yep! If all I have to do is pull the trigger, I'm OK shooting left-handed. On one of my M-16 qualifications, the Combat Arms tech made me shoot left-handed during the practice session. While I did better, I had the same trouble as you did. However, I told him I feel more comfortable shooting right-handed because it is timed.
