SOLD/EXPIRED Lapping rod for 30mm rings

Want to buy or borrow a Sinclair or suitable piece of polished drill rod to use for lapping a set of 30mm rings. I have just one scope with a 30mm tube so not looking to spend $75 on a new rod. Also while lapping the rings is desirable, it's not necessarily essential. Not in immediate need since I don't have the rifle in hand yet. Or if you have a chunk of rod to give away for postage that could work too. Message me here.

I buy 30mm linear hardened chrome shafts on Amazon for 30.00. They work very well. There is a returned item available for 21.95 right now

How hard [NPI] would it be to cut it into pieces with a hacksaw?

I thi k they are RC60, so you might need to use a disk grinder.

Would anyone be interested in a 1/3 or 1/2 chunk if I can cut it conveniently? It's 50cm or about 19.5 inches so I could get 2 nearly 10 inch pieces or 3 of the 6 and a half inch pieces. A Sinclair rod is 8 inches. I'm needing to lap just one set of rings for now.
