Great animal. Dallas said a sheep tag comes with every rifle so I am already planning my hunt for next fall.

I may be a year out from making the plunge but I'm wanting a custom build from Lane Precision. I read great reviews and his builds look great from their website. I love seeing rifles, so if anyone has a Lane Precision and wants to share a pic and specs please post em up. Maybe this will hold me over until a bite the bullet and do it. Thanks!!!

Update: I didn't make it a year, I bit the bullet and placed an order on a Lane Precision build. All those pictures you all posted didn't hold me over, lol. This will be my first custom, now the hard part, the wait.I decided to go with a 280AI, McMillan Game Hunter stock in Kuiu Verde 2.0 camo, Defiance Rebel action and a 26" Bartlein spiral fluted barrel. I've got a NF NXS 5.5-22x50 scope to sit on top. I can't wait to get behind it!!

I have 3 so far. The 6.5 SAUM has shot several 5 shot groups at 1/2" at 400 yards. It'sa light weight hunting rifle too. The 338 took a moose with ease and this year I have a new full plastic 300 IFR that shows amazing promise ( still working on load development, but 7 shot groups with 4 FPS ES!)
