Most likely its a stainless action cerakoted and nitrided bolt. Defiance ships them a lot that way

This one was all stainless and i had the bolt nitrided.. it had a really nice bead blast finish on it. At time of purchase the customer asked me to cerakote it a nice solid black so I did!!! And now look at ... I MEAN JUST LOOK AT IT
