Another Millennium vote. But make sure, as others have made clear, that safety is priority. Definitely have prusik knots or some sort of tie system that keeps you attached TO THE TREE as you climb.

That's fantastic news! It must be great to have your son, a USMC Sergeant, join you for hunting. For a two-person ladder stand, you might want to check out the Millennium L220 or the Rivers Edge RE651. Both are known for being comfortable and sturdy, with shooting rails and heights in the 15-20 ft range.

I will say this. Ladder stands of today aren't nearly as heavy built as they were 4-5 years ago. I just bought a single man stand. It is a piece of crap.
I would look a lot at different brands. Like said above look for large foot platforms, and braces that tie the top to the foot platform and down to the ladder if possible.
