Kirby\'s fall LRH whitetail hunt to be filmed for the Men\'s channel

To all
Kirby is coming to northern Idaho to go on a LR whitetail hunt in late November. The producer and originator of "The Big Game Hunter Journal" on the mens channel is coming to film the week long hunt for a segment to air Winter / Spring 07. There is talk of an entire segment on LRH. Could be a good oportunity for positive LRH exposure as well as being alot of fun. Hopfully Kirby and I will have a couple of -16 lb 338 AM's ready and dialed in for the hunt. I'll keep you posted on possible air dates and details.

It can't get much better than that.

Looks like we might finally get a program with a couple of guys that know what they're doing.

Shawn,

Better start videoing all my shooting this fall to get used to the camera rolling when I shoot /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif!!!

Better keep the camera behind me, thats my best side!!!

We are getting it setup to video throught the Swaro rangefinder as well. I made an adapter to take stills through it ( see recent post on 338 EDGE ) and it makes neat photos with the range on them. They will have multiple cams for potential photo in photo abilities. I showed them some 1148 yards shooting and how long the time of flight was as well as the report of the hit. I suggested that a close up of the hit picture in picture with the main screen paned back to see the bullet trace would make awesome footage.

I don't get the "Men's Channel" either. Someone is going to need to Tivo that one for me. We all better get our orders in for an APS rifles now before corporate sponsors take over and the price goes up I know I don't want to get left behind.

Don't worry about poor ol buffalobob missing out on the upcoming Academy Award winning video. I'll have it recorded and burn him a DVD so he won't miss out.

I've seen Kirby smile so I know it can happen. You just have to be there at the right time and not blink or you'll miss it. You want to know what I think.

First of all I think Shawn mixed something peculiar into that teflon coating because ole Black Sunshine wasn't shooting like that before.

Secondly, as long as my gun gets done before Kirby hits Hollywood, I don't care. The rest of you'uns can fend for y'sef.

I can tell that 'The Man/Men' are gonna need at least 2 things:

1) A driver and a decent rig - I'll volunteer my Hummerette (read Zuki Sidekick /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif) and I'm legal in all 50 States except for driving /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

2) A foley artist(the person who makes the sounds to be dubbed - have one movie to my credit already) to dub in the sound of a 22 Hornet report when ol' sunshine doesn't have much of a bark - yea right! Also the sound of that 50# rockchuck tumbling down the rock pile. Could also show the three size-mic traces of ol' sunshine launching, the bullet hitting and the chuck rolling down the rockpile.

I tell ya what, it's nice to know that you owe money to a movie star. Think I'll try to owe to both /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
