Looking to sell my kimber montana in 308 win and 223 rem. This is a switch barrel rifle with factory barrels. I bought the factory 308 as a complete rifle. My buddy found a 223 bolt on gunbroker. And he also had a factory 223 rem barrel from a build he did.
So I bought the 223 bolt and barrel and sent everything to my gunsmith. He cut both barrels to 18 inches and threaded them for a surefire break. He tried the action and set the head space for both barrels. I believe the 308 barrel is a 1-10 twist and the 223 I believe is a 1-9 twist. Both barrels shoot MOA. All metal is cerakoted in midnight bronze. And the stock is OD green with a spider web.
The scope is a nightforce 2.5-10x32, the reticle is the LV bdc, in moa. Glass is clean. I have the box for it.
Only reason I'm selling, is because I want to build a custom 280AI, and I need the funds from this setup.
Asking $2200 for the rifle and $1700 for the scope.
308 barrel shoots the 155 amax at 2680 and factory FGMM168 at 2450.
