Kestrel 5700 question

I just recently purchased a Kestrel 5700 and paired it with a Leica 2800.com rangefinder. I am new to using both of them. Anyhow I shot my rifle over a chronograph and put all the info into the Kestrel and went shooting last weekend and made hits on steel at 525 yards and then at 975 no problem utilizing the solution the Kestrel gave me.

Today I put on a suppressor and shot at 100 yards again and it moved POI 4.5" low and roughly 1/2" to the left. I input that data into the Kestrel in the "Zero Height" and "Zero Offset" fields and shot again at 400 yards. I hit my target at 400 yards with all five shots but they were all about 1.5 MOA high.

My questions are, what did I do wrong or what could I do better to dial accurately when using suppressor? Is there a better way to "true" with suppressor?

And when not using suppressor I assume I just zero the offset fields and re-upload the profile to my Kestrel?
