Keep your weapons

What are the first three words of the second amendment? Oh, you mumble them or read them really fast or perhaps ignore them?

It is not an unlimited unrestricted right.

You are right the first words are the most important. But you are forgetting what they mean. The first battle of the revolutionary war was everyday average citizens defending colonial arsenal's, from an army, with their own personal weapons.

Average citizens having the ability to fight an army is absolutely what that amendment is about. And to fight an army, hell yes that right absolutely has to be unlimited.

If the Russians were ever to invade the U.S. The Government would be thankful that the Citizens have their own weapons.

It blows my mind how many ignorant people in this country have NO idea why we never get invaded or why we are still a democracy. Do they even look at history of other nations? They spread hate towards us that legally and responsibly own firearms and have no idea that the millions of us that do are the reason they can go to bed safe every night.

It's amazing to me the same people that ignore history also ignore statistics. Look at the hatred towards AR15's. Semi auto rifles account for less than 1% of murders every year. Why so much negative effort put towards them in the media?

And just look at the STUPID laws that get passed in certain states. No rifles with pistol grips? Haha... It's hard not to laugh at these freaking law makers. What is a pistol grip going to do for a rifle? No flash hiders? What the heck are they trying to accomplish?

Absolute power corrupts. Without armed citizens, the goverenment has all the power.
