Saw this little guy yesterday. Coues fawn just out of spots. Not much bigger than my Blue Heeler.

What kind of deer is that doe and fawn in the OP's picture?
Sika deer. They keep their spots for life. I saw this one born, right outside the cabin at a high fence hunt property in MO. (We weren't hunting these) It was on its feet and stumbling in quick time. Momma let me pet it, but she sure kept her eyes on me, like you see in that pic!
