Very sharp looking rifle!
Finish?.....start?
After a long winter I finally got JUDD's new stick all buttoned up. He has it listed also under the gun photos as " Jacklyn " This is a new laminate company (Cousineau Wood Products) with vibrate colors. The black is actually black not gray and the orange is very bright. Hopefully as soon as the weather warms up a little more we'll get some load testing done.

Nice rifle Judd, I have the same caliber and am shooting the Hybrid 180 bergers and the 190 matrix bullets out of my gun with 73.5 to 74.5grs retumbo for the 180bergers and 72.8 H1000 for 190 Matrix, my speeds are 2940 for the matrix and 3000 for the bergers, 25'' barrel, my ES is under 20.Well Friday I went to Kevins to do some final testing before carting the gun across PA to a Long range competition. We got the load down to Single digit ES and SD with very little time. Groups size was well under .4 at 100 yards.
Me and Kevin headed to a shoot at Ridgway rifle club on Sunday. Conditions could have been better but for the first time this gun has been out It impressed me. Shooting at silhouette out to 1K yards. Out of the 50 rounds fired not one shot would have not killed a deer or bear sized animal. Misses on the targets were all a matter of 2 or 3 inches at most. We were both able to ring a swinging gong at 1k about 4" round.
All of our shots were shot off of a bipod. Myself and Kevin were the only two "crazies" shooting off of bipods!
The muzzle break worked to perfection. 50 shots out of this gun and when I was done I never even knew I shot a rifle. On a side note though this gun is loud...like make your heart stop loud for some reason.
The finish of the gun drew allot of attention sitting on the bench. It definitly turns the heads!
I'll be at the next shoot so I'll be doing some more fine tuning beforehand. I plan to try out the 190 matrix bullets soon.
Speed for the gun came out to 3175 as my most consitant and accurate load so far with the 180 bergers. I got up to 3200+ before I hit pressure.
That is what we shot there. It was a blast! The next match is June 5 I believe. Me and Kevin are going to shoot it plus they have a 2 day shoot in July we are attending also.
