Having a little trouble finding fuel canisters for a Jetboil stove. Any suggestions on where to order? None local, as I live in a "geographical oddity. 3 days from anywhere".

In MS? Call the Sportsman's Warehouse in Slidell. One of the best stocked I've ever stepped into.

If you have trouble finding new canisters get the valve for refilling the one you have.

I bought one can of the Coleman version to try at Walmart, and ordered two cans of the Jetboil from Amazon. The Coleman says it may not work as well in cold temps. Wonder how altitude affects it?

You can also get adapters to run off 1lb propane tanks.

The gas stoves don't run as well in cold weather. As the temp drops, fuel pressure drops and the stove produces less heat. Liquid fuel will have an advantage there. Altitude actually helps because it increases the pressure difference, moving more fuel.
