me tooI guess I've learned a new word and expanded my vocabulary today ,and yes that describes me. My wife named my 338 Lapua when I had it built (TOO MUCH) she says it's too much gun and it cost too much and I spend too much time with it ! LOL
A few of us have meetings at the shooting range. So far nobody suspects anything. I am just not ready to come out of the closet.

That's very similar to how I come up with the name I was pretty successful at bottom fishing I was about to go into the six pack charter business decided not to people have asked So many times if I would tell them where I was fishing my response was I'm afraid not then I caught on with the double meaning and had it airbrushed on the side of my boat
Ahhh, it feels so good to be amongst friends that share the same affliction.
I've actually addressed this problem so aside from the SHTF stash which is 5 weapons, 5 that have sentimental value. I'm working with 2 rifles for hunting and dumping the rest into actual hunting. Spent the last few years tweaking my kit to how I hunt and what I need. I see it as I'd rather actually go do the **** thing then put together another 5k setup. See how long I last running two rifles. I'm trying to dump one more rifle so I don't end up with a rechamber and new target gun...
I want to say thank you to all of those of you that have posted on this thread. I now realize that I am not as severely infected as many of you. Therefore I can continue down my current path without remorse. It seems the custom route is the point of no return. I'm going to pump the brakes on looking for good gunsmiths in my area, at least for a little while.

And no need to fight it, there is no known cure, got my first gun at the age of ten within a day or two I was already looking for my next fix, that was 53 years ago, don't know how many have come and gone, doesn't matter how many you have, always room for just one more, regardless of the number its never to many, I have more than I need, but not as many as I want!
