Well I'm far from a connoisseur, but, I have yet to find a blended whiskey I liked and gave it a fairly good study for a few years when I was drinking liberally.I rely heavily on my own senses, not labeling, bottling, whether it is blended or single malt, etc. I do not discriminate them for those reasons. I have done some blind tasting and it was a humbling experience.

If you know the right people it's really doable. Even with travel expenses a ten day hunt in the RSA can run considerably less than a 3-5 day big game guided hunt in the US.I hunted once with my son, would love to go again, but I can't see it happening
