I start every day with two cups of coffee while reading the Wall Street Journal before dawn. Then I take a poke at a gong. This morning it was my .338 Edge at 905 yards. No wind, wasn't much of a challenge. When it picks I will shoot again. Last week we had 25 mph with gusts of 50 for two days. It only reminded me that when the wind is changing several MPH within your time of flight, you are kidding yourself. I commented to a friend in Canada that I never miss my 609 yard gong no matter what the wind is doing, but guess what? Missed that one too - I told him I jinxed myself.
