Is my load good enough for 400 yards?

Why don't you switch powders or primers with your '06 if the load isn't performing as it should??? I've been able to easily get 2800-2900 fps from every 22" bbl. '06 I've had with 165 grain bullets with a bit of work. I did have one remmy like to spit 165's at 2650 fps but shot 200 grain slugs to the same speed... go figure.

My primers of choice for the '06 with a 165 for hunting would be the 215, the wlrm, and the wlr.
My powders of choice would be the 4350's, rl19, rl22, 760, either 4831.

I plan on working a new load next year but am just about out of time this year. So I was simply planning to now only shoot these out to 250yards or less. The rifle is sighted in and I have 15 of these rounds loaded up which will get me through the season. I dont want to wound a deer but if these will still allow for expansion under 250 yards I feel good. If I do find some time I will certainly start working another load
